Constructed out of commercial grade 316L stainless steel, DIG uses a unique helical and fully expandable heat exchanger (HX) designed to accommodate the quick temperature changes and continual on / off cycles typical of commercial applications. This evolutionary design minimizes the HX stress, guaranteeing longer heater life. The single coil eliminates the need for a primary-to-secondary HX connection, thus eliminating six potential leak paths for improved reliability.
